About Us

Patrick and Jennifer visited PCB on vacation in November of 2021.

By February of 2022, they had already purchased a home on the west end of PCB in Laguna Beach.

In August 2023, they decided to open Mountaineer Maintenance after they saw the demand for hard-working maintenance persons to make timely repairs between renters in vacation homes and condos.

Patrick was a coal miner in West Virginia for over 10 years. After a downturn in the coal industry and subsequent layoffs, he began working in maintenance of residential rentals.

Growing up in West Virginia, he worked on home projects and vehicle repairs from a young age.  The strong work ethic that was instilled in him from youth has followed him throughout his life.

After working as an employee doing maintenance for a couple vacation rental companies on 30A, he has transitioned to working for both of them as a maintenance contractor through Mountaineer Maintenance.

He has since branched out to providing maintenance services to other vacation rental property management companies between Santa Rosa Beach and Panama City Beach.

Jennifer has an eclectic mix of companies in West Virginia, spanning the last 20+ years.  Her oldest business is a 

flipping/property management/real estate investment company.  She also has a meth testing,remediation and training company.  Lastly, she has a belly dance instruction and performance company.  Since moving to Florida, she has sold off her rental portfolio in WV, pared down her meth company to online training only, and has started teaching dance classes in PCB.

After working on her own rental properties and flips for 20+ years, she is now doing maintenance for Mountaineer Maintenance.

She currently holds Florida licenses as a Real Estate Agent, Community Association Manager and Certified Pool Operator.
